With only six weeks left before the Everglades Challenge is underway, the Stand up for Miami team has kicked into intensive training mode. Sunrise paddles on the bay, a healthy diet and a comprehensive training regiment have us well on our way to winning the 280-mile challenge, meanwhile raising some much needed funds for inner city environmental education charities. Look forward to more info on our send-off fundraiser party at North Beach's Sandbar soon.

The Mission.
To be the first stand up paddlers to complete the challenge, while raising awareness and funds for local charities.

Tampa Bay to Key Largo,Florida, 300 miles in 8 days or less. |
This Challenge is an expediton style adventure race for kayaks, canoes, and small sailboats. The time limit is 8 days but the winners will do it in 2 to 4 days. The distance is 260 to 300 miles depending on your course. This challenge is a qualifier for the Ultimate Florida Challenge. |
